 Millennium Falcon Scale
I was wondering what the scale was per square on the Millennium Falcon map, which by the way is in my humble opinion the definitive deck plan for the infamous starship! I reasoned it to be one meter per square, or about two squares for every five feet. I just wanted to check with you to be sure. Also is ever going to be possible to somehow get a battle map version for the Falcon.

 Re: Millennium Falcon Scale
Good question. I specifically left a scale reference off of that ship, because the only way to fit it into the the ship we see in the movie is to ignore the length of the Falcon given in every canon source on record. Basically, the film set for the interior of the ship does not fit within the hull shown in the movie, at least at the dimensions Lucasfilm has established for it.
To use this within a RPG or minis game, my advice would be to treat every square as about .75 meters (or roughly 2.5 feet). Thus, if you take four adjacent squares on my map, like the area defined by the maintenance access marking in the main hold, those would become one square on a battle grid. (one square on the battle grid being approximately 1.5 meters, or 5 feet on a side)
Thanks for the compliments! This is actually the official Millennium Falcon map, approved by Lucasfilm as published in the Polyhedron article I wrote entitled "Secrets of the Falcon". The novel "Millennium Falcon" incorporated the sketchy history of the ship that I established in the article, including historical points that I myself came up with that are now part of the ship's official story. A set of official Lucasfilm technical blueprints published a few years ago are also based directly on my map of the Falcon.

 Re: Millennium Falcon Scale
Would this map ever be created into a minis scale?

 Re: Millennium Falcon Scale
I'd like to do a mini-scale version of the Falcon map, even if I have to play with room proportions to fit the grid. That said, I have no plans to do so because I couldn't publish it on my own and WotC never asked me to make one at that scale.
If the Star wars license is picked up by another company, and that company hires me to make a miniatures-scale map of the Millennium Falcon, that's about the only way I could see it happening by my hand. But, as noted, some fans have attempted to do their own versions. I don't have a URL offhand, but google might be able to help you look for those.
